An informal directive given by players in response to a question regarding the boundaries of roleplay, which clarifies the extent to which players are engaged in roleplay outside of the physical space or temporal duration directed by organisers.
Example(s)
- At an event with specified time-in periods, the start of the event has not yet been declared by a referee call, but players are already in costume. A player asks, "Are you time-in?" and the group responds, "We're time-ish" indicating a willingness to roleplay.
